CARER TICKETS
To encourage attendance by all, we offer one free Carer ticket for anyone requiring a carer to accompany them. Evidence of carer status should be provided at the entrance gate.
The following documents can generally be used (dated within the last 12 months):

Personal Independence Payments (PIP)
Armed Forces Independence Payments (AFIP)

PARKING
Disabled parking is available on site via the Kerry Lane entrance. Please email to request a space with disabled badge details.
TOILETS
We have an accessible toilet on site.
QUIET/WELLBEING SPACE
A quiet space is available at the Event HQ tent.

Although there are lots of catering options to choose from on site, you are welcome to bring a moderate amount of food and alcohol for your own consumption, but absolutely no glass.
You can bring your own plastic drinks cups, or preferably buy one of our lovely Party in the Park ones! We have a value for money licensed bar selling a range of locally produced beers and cider, and hope that you will support the festival by using it.
Party in the Park receives significant income from the vendors on site. Please do support them and help us keep the event affordable for future years. All vendors take cash and/or card payments.
Party in the Park welcomes families!
In our Kids Zone this year we will have arts and crafts activities, facepainting, and Stories in Motion providing two one-hour sessions for children and families to participate in.
Our local conservation group, Going Wild in Bishops Castle, will also be providing information and activities for children to get involved in.
Please do park considerately as we don’t want to annoy the good people of Bishops Castle!
Please follow the orange Party in the Park signage around town. There is free event parking at the Community College on Brampton Road, and in the Auction Yard car park on Station Street.Â

Ticket holders should use the Union Street entrance to exchange their tickets for wristbands.
For the safety of all attendees, the Kerry Lane entrance is strictly for vendors, bands and pre-arranged disabled parking only.

We ask all our vendors to use recyclable packaging and we provide plenty of clearly labelled
recycling facilities. Please use them!
The bar will be using Party in the Park beakers which can be purchased for £2. These are available from the Merchandise tent and at the bar.
You are also welcome to bring your own reusable festival cups.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on short leads at all times. Please ensure that you clean up after them.

No cycling in the arena.

No BBQs or fires/fireworks/Chinese lanterns etc permitted anywhere on site.

Small gazebos will only be allowed at the discretion of the organisers based on weather conditions, and will be restricted to the rear section of the arena. This will be announced on the Facebook page on Thursday/Friday before the festival. For 2026 we have a much larger bar marquee which will provide shelter from the sun or rain.

We are a very small committee of dedicated individuals who make Party in the Park happen each year.
